The American Heart Association (AHA) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Streaming Videos will equip your students with lifesaving knowledge. Inside the PALS Streaming Videos, you’ll find instructional and practical videos from professionals in the medical field.
What Modules Do the Streaming Videos Cover?
The Streaming Videos are divided into three folders. The first folder contains the PALS instructor led training, which has 4 hours of content. The second and third PALS folders have the HeartCode and Renewal courses with a run time a little less than 3 hours.
What Other Products Do You Recommend?
The AHA also offers the same videos for purchase in a streaming format. The PALS DVD Set offers the same content without the worry of needing internet connection. To use the AHA PALS Course Videos you will also need the AHA PALS Instructor Manual.
What year is the most current AHA curriculum?
The AHA 2020 Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Streaming Videos fit the new standards set by the American Heart Association. Every five years the ECC updates standards and guidelines for CPR and First Aid. Any older training videos or curriculum such as the 2015, or 2010 guidelines have been retired and should no longer be used. In 2025, the ECC will release new guidelines and the AHA may choose to update curriculum then as well.
How to Access the Streaming Videos
Upon purchase, an access code will be sent to you by email. For orders placed on weekdays between 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM CST, the access will be emailed within 24 hours. However, if placed on a Friday after 5:00 PM, the access code will arrive via email on the first business day.
Using the access code, instructors can stream and download the courses to a personal computer or laptop with an internet connection. Video’s may only be used by one person at a time, so if your Training Site is teaching multiple classes at a time it may be necessary to purchase multiple access codes.
